Oyo State has recorded thirty-three new cases of coronavirus as the total confirmed cases hit one thousand, one hundred and eighty-eight.
This is contained in a tweet by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) at around 11:50 pm on Thursday.
According to NCDC, a total of five hundred and ninety-four new cases were recorded with Lagos state having one hundred and fifty-nine cases, the highest for the day.
All together, Nigeria now has 22,614 confirmed cases of Covid-19, 7,822 discharged, and 549 death recorded
