Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force has confirmed thirty-one new cases of coronavirus in the state where thirty of these cases are members of staff of the same organization based in Ibadan South West Local Government Area.
This is contained in a statement released by Governor Seyi Makinde who is also the Chairman of the Task Force at around 10:24 pm on Saturday.
According to Governor Makinde, the remaining one case is from Egbeda Local Government Area which makes the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State to be 107.
While the organization has been shut down to get decontaminated, the Governor also urged the members of the public to remain calm as the situation is under control.
