The People’s Democratic Party Gubernatorial Candidate and the incumbent Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Abiodun Makinde has won Oyo State in an historic landslide over his contenders.
Makinde, who won 31 out of the 33 Local Governments in the State with 563, 756 votes and his close Contestants of the All Progressive Congress, Senator Teslim Folarin polled 256, 685 votes.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced Makinde who satisfied the Constitutional requirements for his Reelection bid.
