Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Oyo State APC Gubernatorial Candidate in the 2019 General Elections, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has been appointed as the chairman of the APC state congress committee for Lagos State.
According to the Director of Administration of The Caretaker and Extra-ordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Alhaji Abubakar Suleiman, the inauguration takes place at the party’s headquarter in Abuja by 1.00pm on Wednesday, 13th October 2021.
Adelabu, who came second in the 2019 election, is the leading contender for ticket of the APC in Oyo State ahead of the 2023 election.
