The Chairman of Pacesetters Transportation Services (PTS) Company, Mr. Dare Adeleke has been tackled on his statement that the buses bought by the last administration were sold because they were obsolete and unserviceable.
Adeleke, in his statement said “It is not a new thing for obsolete and in serviceable buses to be sold but due process must be followed”.
In a response by one of the workers, described Adeleke’s statement as one that was full of lies saying that the vehicles were repairable. “The vehicles were repairable,” he said.
“Don’t mind the man. He was only telling lies. Those vehicles were repairable. There was one of the vehicles which had a problem with its fuel pump and we made effort to repair them (the vehicles) before Adeleke was appointed.
“Those vehicles were not that bad. It was only three of the vehicles that were not good enough. How can he claim that 22 vehicles were bad? Ajimobi administration might have had its own faults but it was not this bad.”
Adeleke, in a petition submitted to Governor Seyi Makinde was accused to have sold 22 Buses bought by Ajimobi led administration as scraps.
