EndSARs: Take It Back Movement Frowns At, Seyi Makinde, DPP, Ministry of Justice Over Ineffective Discharge Duties

Take it Back Movement, the radical November headed by Omoyele Sowore has recently condemned the lackadaisical attitude of the Oyo state government, Oyo state’s Department of State’s Prosecution (DPP) and the Ministry of Justice for their role in handling cases involving the common masses.

In a Broadcast, signed by the State Coordinator, Comrade Eniola Solomon explained that, “these attitudes have costed enormous number of victims and their families both psychological and material lose”.

Citing instances from the embattled case of #FreeOyo11 ENDSARS Protesters, Emiola, “condemn the ineffective discharge of duites by both DPP and the Ministry of Justice. We can see that the idea of getting justice in court of law, largely controlled by the ruling class”.

He further condemned the refusal of the Oyo state to publish the reports of the Judicial Panel on ENDSARS. “This cannot be disconnected from possible cover ups by the state on the events, that, is, killings and brutalization of citizens that happened at Ojoo”.

He further condemn the poor ethics of the police in “investigating and prosecuting suspect without presence of ministry of Justice’s representative in process of interrogation and statement writing, but the reverse is the case”.
