In a show of strong unity, the Forum of Chairmen of Boards, Directors-General, and Chairmen of Tertiary Institution Boards in Oyo State has expressed its full support for Governor Seyi Makinde’s leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a joint statement signed by Alh. Kamoru Abiodun Aderibigbe and Prince Adebowale Falana, the forum praised Makinde for his inclusive governance, commitment to multiparty democracy, and efforts to strengthen the party nationally.
The leaders commended Makinde’s focus on sustainable growth, youth empowerment, and institutional excellence, saying his vision inspires trust and hope, not just in Oyo State but across Nigeria. They urged PDP members to stay united and disciplined as the party prepares for the 2027 elections, affirming that the PDP is on track for renewal and victory.
“With the reforms and leadership in place, the party is set to bounce back stronger and reclaim its rightful place in national leadership,” the statement read. The forum reaffirmed its loyalty to Makinde’s developmental agenda, hailing his contributions to progress and stability in Oyo State.
