Yunus Akintunde, a member of the former governor Abiola Ajimobi’s cabinet and Commissioner for Works and Transportation has won the ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for Oyo central.
He defeated his close challenger, Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen, in a keenly contested election.
