The President of Supreme Forum for Yoruba Youth (SFYY), Comrade Femi Awogboro reached out to schools and fewer privileges as part of activities for his birthday celebration.
He charged the youth to continue to be agents of positive change for the progress of the south-west states and Nigeria at large.
Aare Femi Awogboro stated this while presenting some learning materials to students of Secondary Schools in the Ibadan metropolis to commemorate his birthday.
The task of the space-setting status of the southwest states, according to the SFYY President, can not be left in the hands of the State Governors alone but should be a collective responsibility because they can not do it alone.
“It is time people of the Southwest states, the Omoluabi’s restrategized. Especially, the youth need to support various government at all levels to reduce or eradicate the activities of kidnappers terrorising the Northern parts of the country.
“Here in the Southwest we value education, hence the need for relevant stakeholders to fashion out ways to prevent such occurrence in Yorubaland”, Awogboro stated.
“I decided to celebrate this year’s birthday in a low key. I didn’t want to do anything but it has been my usual practice to donate to schools in my capacity to support the education sector and the less privileged to contribute my quota towards improving society.
Aare Awogboro also appreciated God who gave him the grace to clock another year despite various challenges.
He however thanked the Supreme Forum for Yoruba Youth, friends and other good wishers for their wishes through text message and phone calls.
