Oyo lawmaker, Hon. Adebayo Babajide through his Foundation has begins distribution of cash to underprivileged people in his Ibadan North constituency 11 area of of state.
Hon. Babajide who was represented by Prince Falana Adebowale, the Personal Assistance to Chief of Staff to Oyo state governor said, he is doing it to ease the Xmas and New Year celebration’s financial burden of his people.
” We all know, the whole 2020 is with financial and physical challenges, the pandemic has restricted so many business activities and limited our movement to a certain area in a point in time.
“We are all recovering little by little but we can’t rule out celebrating some special days like Xmas and New year, so, in order to boast moral of our people for the festive, especially the less privileges, I decided to help them with cash to finance the merriments of their family, i empathise with them in their struggle to make ends meet. Hence, the cash gift shows that they are not alone ,” Hon. Jide said.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to God and thanked Hon. Adebayo Babajide for putting smiles on the faces of the people in his constituency.
Irabor Michael , a resident of Samanda, described Hon. Jide as a humble and kind hearted person, adding that, he is doing wonderfully well and keeping up to his promises, portrays him as a man of the people.
Mr. Azeez Olakunle from Ward 12, Agbowo area of Ibadan North local government in his separate praise commended the lawmaker for always being there for the people of his constituency. Our honorable had done it for us again, he always get in touch with the people of his constituency, even his kind heart was felt during pandemic.
