Honourable Ayoade Rasheed Adegboyega popularly known as Hon ARA has joined the Nigerian and international community to celebrate the yearly International Workers Day.
Honourable ARA, in his message that was made available by his Media Aides said, “On this International Workers’ Day, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to all workers around the world. This day celebrates the tireless efforts and contributions of workers in every industry and sector, and serves as a reminder of the importance of their hard work.
Throughout history, workers have fought for their rights and freedoms, and have made significant strides in improving their working conditions and advancing labor laws. Their dedication and commitment have helped to build strong and thriving economies, and have contributed to the growth and development of communities around the world”.
He continued, “Today, we honor these efforts and recognize the vital role that workers play in our society. From healthcare professionals to teachers, from factory workers to essential service providers, workers of all kinds have shown incredible resilience and determination, particularly in the face of the unprecedented challenges of the last few years.
As we celebrate International Workers’ Day, let us also remember that there is still much work to be done to ensure that all workers are treated fairly and with dignity. We must continue to support efforts that promote safe and healthy working conditions, fair wages and benefits, and equal opportunities for all”.
