The Award Winning and highly On Air Personality, Yoruba presenter and Deputy Head of Yoruba Programmes at Agidigbo FM, Ajibola Akinyefa has resigned from his roles at the Popular Ibadan Radio Station.
Akinyefa, who is widely loved among the Oyo State resident has reportedly dropped his resignation letter which took effect immediately.
Major cause behind the sudden resignation of Veteran Yoruba Presenter can be attributed to being angrily cut off on Air some weeks back during the Media Chats with the Accord Party Gubernatorial Candidate, Bayo Adelabu by the Chairman of Agidigbo FM, Oriyomi Hamzat.
The difference in political ideologies between the Media gurus (Oriyomi Hamzat and Akinyefa) led to the crisis and sudden resignation. Akinyefa, who during the programme hailed and described Oloye Adebayo Adelabu as one of the strong opposition for 2023 further contributed to the crisis.
Ajibola Akinyefa, however has not disclosed his next destination after his stint with Agidigbo FM ended.
Akinyefa joined Agidigbo FM from Lagelu FM on February, 2021.
