Following the thrilling winning performance from the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Seun Fakorede has confessed to Journalists how encouraged his team was.
The thrilling and keenly contested match hosted at the newly refurbished Adamasingba Stadium between the 3SC and Kwara United which end with 2-1 scoreline in favour of the 3SC.
” I must confess that we are encouraged with the performance of 3SC Players on the pitch today”, Fakorede said.
“Indeed, their performance has re-invigorated the spirit of fans and supporters all over and it has once again boosted the confidence of supporters in them”.
“Earlier before the match, in the dressing room, I had told our players that we need to regain the confidence of the people by winning today’s match. I also made it known to them that if there’s anything to do in the memory of the late General Manager of the Club, Mr. Rasheed Balogun, it is to honour him with this match and to also end up at the top of the league”, he continued.
He further commended the players for the energy that was invested into the match and I do hope to see more of their excellent performances.
