The 2019 Gubernatorial candidate of All Progressive Party APC Oloye Adebayo Adelabu and Niyi Akintola SAN were both absent from the All Progressive Congress Primary election that was slated to held today at the Liberty Stadium in order to pick who will be the flagbearer for the gubernatorial election.
Adelabu, who contested and lost in 2019 gubernatorial election has been put on hot seat by other fierce contestants such as Senator Teslim Folarin, Akeem Alao, Azeez Adeduntan, and Akeem Agbaje.
It was reported yesterday that, Niyi Akintola SAN has pull out of the race and was also absent at the election ground today.
The counting of Votes is still going on, all the effort to reach out to the two aspirants was abortive during this report.
