The executive governor of OYO state, Engineer Seyi Makinde has said that his records surpassed that of former Governors in Oyo State, saying no one has ever done an 65km road before.
The Governor used the opportunity of the town hall meeting on Fresh Fm, Ibadan on Sunday, 29th of January, to react to some claims on the construction of the road in the state.
According to him, “I challenge anyone to come and tell me if any Governor in Oyo State has done that before. I’ve linked Oke Ogun to Ibadan. Not all roads need to be dualized. The ones that are needed to dualize we’ll do it and give our people the best development structure.
He stated further that “There are many roads to be constructed in Omituntun 2.0 and we’ll surely deliver.”
