Teslim Kunle Foundation on Sunday held her 5th Ramadan lecture at the ojude-oba, Iseyin, Oyo State.
The event was graced by dignitaries ranging from Businessmen and women, politicians and corporate organizations from within and outside Iseyin town.
The Guest lecturer, Al-Imam Sheik Daud Oladele Tijani did justice to the topic “The role of Islam in politics and its benefit to the community”.
According to Sheikh Daud, “Islam’s role is to shape political systems and bring positive change to the community. Islam promotes justice, equality, and good governance, making it a valuable framework for political engagement.
He further stressed the need for Muslims to actively contribute to the political landscape, advocating for policies that benefit the entire community.
The Founder of Teslim Kunle Foundation, Hon. Teslim in his welcome address said, that the foundation’s primary focus is to give selfless services to our people, especially in the area of Education, Human Empowerment, Spiritual guidance, Employment, health and good governance.
“Towards this end we have been able to record some positive achievements and made significant stands in our determined efforts to be part of struggle to make Oke-Ogun great in the last 5years of establishment.
“We have mainly focused on education, empowerment, employment opportunities for our youths. In the area of education, we hav been able to facilitate admission for some of our students into their preffered tetiary institution and also attracted empowerment opportunities for some of our youths in need of jobs.
