The Supreme Court this morning sacked the Eleruwa of Eruwa, Oba Samuel Adegbola twenty-one years after he ascended the throne of his forebears.

Samuel Adegbola who was dethroned by Oyo State High Court on January 26, 2011 had approached the appellate court for an order to quash the verdict.

Justice Ladipo Abimbola affirmed the processes that brought him to the throne as irregular and declared them null and void; and thus that Mr. Samuel vacates the seat.

Dissatisfied with the judgement, Mr. Samuel approached the Supreme Court with the hope that the mandate would be affirmed but the Apex Court rejected his prayers and declared him removed which put an end to the legal tussle.
