Sequel to the plan by the Oyo state House of Assembly to impeach the Deputy Governor, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, the Oyo State high court has given an order that the house should refrain from such process.
Justice Oladiran Akintola on Wednesday, 29th June 2022 ruled that the assembly should stop any removal process until the court decides, OYOINSIGHT gathered.
The continuation of the hearing has been adjourned to Tuesday, July 5 2022.
The adjournment, according to OYOINSIGHT was to allow the assembly files its reply to that of Olaniyan.
The assembly is billed to read Olaniyan’s reply to their allegation this morning.
