The Oyo Football Authority has directed all coaches not to participate in the forthcoming football competition organized by a federal House of Representatives member, Honourable Shina Peller.
The competition, is expected to encompasses football teams and players from the Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency, which the Honourable is representing.
Following a telephone chat with a Secretary of Oyo FA, he explained that “Peller does neither inform nor carry the FA along with his competition and the FA has already given directives that the competition should not hold unless it gives a go-ahead”.
When asked, if this does not have a correlation with the recent rift between Honourable Shina Peller and the NSCDC which led to withdrawal of his Security aides, he said, “this is different, protocols were not observed”.
