Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso Students has commended the effort of the Visitor of the institution and Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Abiodun Makinde for his continuous support and actions towards the sustenance and development of the Institution.

The Students of LAUTECH, the Oyo State University situated in Ogbomoso has widely praised Makinde who they described as “our benefactor who deserves re election” for continuity.

The University’s Student Union Leaders, in response to the propaganda launched by APC group published “Don’t Force LAUTECH Students, others to campaign for you” has been seen as a cheap clout to further sell the opposition who failed to uphold, sustain the glory of the Institution.

Efforts of Governor Makinde to rescue the Institution after disastrous management from APC which includes incessant strike actions, increment in school levies, zero students welfare and falling glory of our dear institution during the Past administration led by Late Governor, Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi of APC, but the Opposition Group were still condemning the current administration.

Since Makinde’s emergence in 2019 after defeating the current Opposition Party(ies) we have seen LAUTECH rise to become one of the best State owned and funded Universities, this is not a rocket science, it is Makinde’s effort, other dividends enjoyed by the Institution is ensuring it is owned solely and fully by Oyo State, slashed the school fees, increase faculties and our plights have been heard, all these were absent during APC rulerships.

New Campus is beeping built at Iseyin and we have seen our His Excellency prioritized our Universities and other levels of education in the State, why won’t we go to war for him, Dear APC?
