The Chairman of National Communication Commission (NCC), Prof. Deolu Akande, has on Thursday, December 10, heeded the call of the Ibarapa community for a rejuvenation of the epileptic telecommunication network in the community.
The development was championed by Engr. Olusegun Okanlawon who is also the Chairman of ‘Olusegun Okanlawon Foundation.
In his congratulatory message to the people of Ibarapa, Engr. Okanlawon said “the effects of these moves will be felt in the coming weeks and months.”
His message reads: “During the first quarter of this year, we wrote letters to the leadership of National Communication Commission (NCC) and we have been able to make several contacts with the Chairman, Professor Adeolu Akande.
It is with pleasure that I write to inform you that we received audience from the Chairman, and his good office has made various moves to ensure that mobile communication network in Ibarapa is greatly enhanced. The effects of these moves will be felt in the coming weeks and months. Congratulations to our people, and much gratitude to Prof. Adeolu Akande.
Together, we can drive Ibarapa to the heights of our dream.”
