A leading gubernatorial aspirant in the All Progressive Congress (APC), Mogaji Joseph Olasunkammi Tegbe has celebrated Muslim Faithful all over the world, Oyo state in particular over the arrival of the Holy Month in the Hijrah Calendar.
In a statement made available to OYOMIND, Tegbe urged Muslims in Oyo state to pray for peace, development, and good governance in the state.
He further imported them all to stay away from violence and pray that peace return to all the troubled zones in the country.
He said “I wish all the Muslim faithful all over the world Ramadan Kareem. I pray that Almighty Allah will answer all our prayers and requests in this holy month of Ramadan.
“While I urge Muslim faithfuls in Oyo state to intensify in their prayers for peace, development and good governance in our dear state, I also implore that in the spirit of Ramadan, we should eschew violence, be our brothers keepers, spread kindness and show empathy to everyone around”.
“I also beseech Muslims all over Nigeria to pray for peace in our beloved country, especially troubled zones.
“May Allah accept our fasting as an act of Ibadah.”
