Police Officer Kills Poly Ibadan Graduate at Palms Mall

In Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, an officer of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) on Sunday killed a young man, Akinola Babatunde, who graduated from The Polytechnic, Ibadan some weeks ago.

The incidents, which happened at Palms Mall, Ringroad Ibadan, had the officer shot at Babatunde while trying to avoid arrest from the Police.

According to an eyewitness who spoke under anonymity, “he was about to be arrested when he tried escaping through ShopRite net fence, so one of the Police officers pulled trigger twice, and he died immediately”.

As at the time of filing this report, the officers that paraded the Mall at that our are yet to be known, unknown, they ran away after killing Babatunde.
