PDP Appoints Makinde, Others as Edo Gubernatorial Primary Electoral Committee

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed Governor Seyi Makinde as a member of the Edo State Gubernatorial Primary Election Committee.

In a statement by the National Organizing Secretary of the Party, Col. Austin Akobundu (rtd.) named the Oyo State Governor alongside four other people to see to the part primary election in Edo State.

The statement reads:

The National Working Committee (NWC) of our incredible gathering has affirmed the selection of the accompanying party individuals and pioneers to serve on the GUBERNATORIAL PRIMARY ELECTORAL COMMITTEE.

The Committee is required to elect the Flagbearer of our Party in the State of Edo for the upcoming legislative election in the State in 2020.

Composition;

  1. HE. Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (Chairman)
  2. HE. Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde (Member)
  3. HE. Bello Mutawallen Maradaun (Member)
  4. Dist. Sen. Lilian Uche Ekwunife (Member)
  5. Hon. Solomon Bulus Maren (Secretary)

The exercise is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2020, in Benin City, Edo State.
