Amofin Beulah Adeoye, President of the Beulah Adeoye Foundation, has been honoured with Philanthropist Of The Year 2025 Award by the management of the Radio Nigeria, Oyo State chapter.

The legal icon was honoured by Nigeria’s first broadcast corporation for his outstanding philanthropic gesture that cut across various sectors, especially the grassroots in the State.

Amofin Adeoye, through Beulah Adeoye Foundation has provided life-changing initiatives for the vast majority of residents of Oyo State, scholarships for students, empowerment for youth and women.

Beneficiaries of Amofin Adeoye’s philanthropic gesture thronged the premises of Radio Nigeria to share in the joy and celebrate Amofin Adeoye whose impact was recognised by a medium through which the public got informed, educated and entertained.

The Award was presented by The Zonal Director, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Mr. Dominic Mokikan, while Emperor Imoyosola Adetoro JP and Mrs Funmilayo Ilesanmi anchored the program.

The event buzzed with smiling faces from youth groups and women’s organizations.

The elated Amofin Adeoye after receiving the award expressed his appreciation to the management and Staff of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN)for the honour and for taking time to monitor the activities of Beulah Adeoye Foundation. He stressed that the Foundation was established years ago to assist the people and uplift the downtrodden and forgotten in the society.

He commended Radio Nigeria on its innovative broadcasting. The financial expert praised the Amofin Beulah Movement and well-wishers who joined to celebrate with him. He assured all and sundry that he will not stop from assisting humanity through Beulah Adeoye Foundation.

Hon. Aransi Wasiu, Coordinator, Amofin Beulah Movement led other members of the team, while Mrs Oyewole Remilekun Lydia, Women Coordinator, Beulah Adeoye Movement led the women wing to the venue of the occasion.

Also present were; Mrs Wunmi Olaniyan, State Coordinator, Mrs Adijat Taiwo Adesewa of Beauties Circle and 33 Local Government Coordinators of Amofin Beulah Adeoye Movement.

33 Local Government Youth Leaders Unite Virtually, Chart Path to Electoral Victory in Oyo State

In a significant stride towards political mobilisation, youth leaders from all 33 local government areas of Oyo State convened virtually at the weekend for the inaugural meeting of the Amofin Beulah Adeoye Political Movement. The two-and-a-half-hour session, guided by State Youth Leader Aáre Azeez Sharafudeen Biafra and State Coordinator Hon. Aransi Wasiu, marked a pivotal moment in the movement’s grassroots engagement strategy.

Opening the meeting, Aáre Biafra expressed gratitude to the youth leaders for their genuine commitment and underscored the importance of teamwork, discipline, and loyalty in advancing the movement’s objectives. He outlined a three-pronged agenda: enhancing youth participation in upcoming political activities, ensuring effective coordination and communication among local youth leaders, and fostering a collective sense of responsibility and allegiance to the movement’s mission. Emphasising the urgency of these initiatives, he called for the swift establishment of local youth meetings across all 33 local government areas to fortify the movement’s presence ahead of the electoral season.

Mr. Oladejo Ibrahim Akinlolu, Youth Leader of Ona Ara Local Government, proposed a comprehensive rebranding initiative to bolster the movement’s visibility and identity. His suggestion to introduce branded materials such as caps, vests, stickers, and banners received widespread approval, reflecting the collective enthusiasm and commitment of the youth leaders.

Hon. Aransi Wasiu, State Coordinator of the Movement, commended the dedication and zeal exhibited by the youth leaders, reaffirming the movement’s commitment to nurturing an inclusive and dynamic youth structure. He announced that the movement’s coordination office, known as Beulah House, located in the Mokola area of Ibadan, would serve as the central hub for all future meetings and activities. The establishment of a dedicated youth office within Beulah House aims to streamline administrative operations and facilitate more effective coordination of youth initiatives.

Mr. Salam Kaseem, Youth Leader of Oyo West Local Government, lauded the initiative and advocated for regular engagements of this nature to promote strategic planning and sustained youth mobilisation across all zones.

Concluding the meeting, Aáre Biafra expressed heartfelt appreciation to all attendees for their active participation and reaffirmed the leadership’s commitment to the movement’s vision. He appealed for continued prayers and support for the principal and the entire team, emphasising the belief that the Oyo governorship ticket is destined for their candidate. The meeting was formally adjourned at after 10:00 p.m., with the next physical gathering scheduled, at Beulah House, Ibadan.

This inaugural meeting not only strengthened communication among youth leaders but also reignited a collective commitment to political mobilisation, reaffirming loyalty to the vision and mission of Amofin Beulah Adeoye. With renewed vigour and strategic direction, the youth wing stands poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the political landscape of Oyo State in the forthcoming elections.

Sometimes, in the heat of loyalty battles, individuals lose sight of their true purpose and become prisoners of the very system they once sought to influence. What begins as a show of faith or conviction can easily morph into blind allegiance, where reasoning gives way to ego and progress is sacrificed for pride.

When one’s energy is consumed by defending or fighting a system rather than improving it, the line between conviction and obsession becomes dangerously blurred. In such moments, people often forget that no system is sacred, it is merely a structure built by human minds and, therefore, capable of transformation through the same human intellect.

The recent boycott by some media practitioners in Ibadan serves as a telling example of this paradox. The protest, initially positioned as a move of solidarity and advocacy, has yielded little or no tangible result in the broader landscape of sports communication and brand promotion.

Shooting Stars SC , which was at the center of the storm, has continued its activities largely unaffected in terms of brand visibility, awareness, and engagement. Matchday attendance remains modest, and revenue generation has not witnessed the expected dip. In fact, other emerging media voices have stepped up, filling the vacuum and proving that the ecosystem of communication will always evolve to accommodate change.

For those behind the boycott, the results should inspire deep reflection. The intention may have been noble, but the outcomes reveal a strategic misstep. By withdrawing their platforms from active engagement, these journalists have not weakened the system; they have weakened their own influence within it.

Their absence from the public conversation means lost opportunities to shape narratives, reduced audience engagement, and a slow erosion of trust among their listeners. Concerns should be raised on behalf of those young and innocent minds being misled and get caught up as pawns in a chess game they will never win. In a competitive media environment, silence is rarely neutral, it is a surrender of visibility and relevance.

Moreover, the ongoing standoff underscores a broader truth about purpose and professional identity. Journalism thrives on credibility, consistency, and connection with the public. When practitioners step away from their core responsibilities in pursuit of a personal or collective feud, they risk diluting the very values that define their craft.

The supposed fight for principles begins to look more like a purposeless rebellion when it fails to yield progress or clarity. Listeners, who once tuned in for information and insight, begin to drift toward platforms that continue to deliver content with energy and commitment.

The implications are not just professional but reputational. Credibility in journalism is hard-earned and easily lost. By engaging in a loyalty battle that offers no clear path to reform or mutual understanding, these practitioners risk being remembered not for their contributions to sports development but for their absence in a crucial moment of transition.

Their silence does not challenge the system, it strengthens the perception that they were only as relevant as their airtime. In the age of digital media and instant access, audiences have options, and attention quickly shifts to those who remain consistent.

Ultimately, no system is designed to be static. The human mind possesses the power to think, to change, and to redefine what that system should look like. True reform and relevance come not from confrontation alone but from constructive engagement and innovation. The lesson here is simple but profound: fighting the system without a clear sense of purpose is a losing battle.

Purpose gives direction to loyalty, and when loyalty loses direction, it becomes a chain that binds rather than a compass that guides. The time has come for those caught in this cycle to rethink their strategies, rediscover their purpose, and rejoin the conversation, not as combatants, but as contributors to progress.
