Oyo State Commissioner for youth and sports, Hon. Seun Fakorede or Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State has described the ongoing election as a seamless exercise
He spoke after voting at Idere in Ibarapa Central area of Oyo State.
Fakorede, while briefing newsmen immediately after casting his ballot, said: “So far voting has been going on calmly, and peacefully in my area, and within the metropolitan areas.”
The PDP Commissioner said he remains upbeat about victory of his principal, Engr Seyi Makinde when asked about his expectation at the end of the exercise.
“The PDP, God willing, is optimistic of victory in the election,” he said.
