The Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Engr. ‘Seun Fakorede MNSE has declared that the State government would unveil some human capital development projects in 2022.
The Commissioner declared this while playing host to the Oyo State leadership of Man O’ War who came to pay him a courtesy visit at his office. The delegation comprises of Chairman, Man O’ War, Oyo State Command, Deputy Commandant Yekeen Lukman, Deputy in charge of administration, Head of Treasury, Publicity Secretary, Head of Operations, Commanding Officer, Rescue Department, PA to the Chairman and Area Commander, Ibadan South East Local Government.
During the visit, the Commissioner applauded Man O’ War, Oyo State Command for their diligent service. “Man O’ War is enjoying some level of visibility in the State because the number one citizen, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE strongly identifies with the organisation and the youths at large.”
He however made it known that the organisation is not new to him as a person and that he is always proud whenever he sees any member of the organisation and that he will always associate with them because it is expected of him to amplify whatever the Governor does.
While answering their demand for inclusion in empowerment programmes in the State, the Commissioner declared that the State government would unveil some human capital development projects which would include training some persons in Tech amongst others this year. The Commissioner assured them that “as soon as these programmes are unfolded, Man O’ War would also be consider as beneficiary in boosting the morale of members.”
On his part, the Chairman of Man O’ War, Oyo State Command, Deputy Commandant Yekeen Lukman said that they appreciate the fact that they have someone like the Governor engineering the spirit of their members at the forefront and that they believe “the number one privilege Man O’ War is enjoying in the State is because the Governor too is a member and we don’t take it for granted.”
