Oyo state Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Seun Fakorede MNSE hosted Youths across the state to a Special Iftar.
The iftar dinner which was chiefly hosted by Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde FNSE was held on Wednesday with various youth groups in attendance such as Members of the Oyo State Youths Parliament, Media Influencers, Party members amongst others.
During his address, Fakorede pointed out the need to be unified against all odds adding that disunity always slow down momentum of development.
His words: “This special iftar dinner is one of the initiative my office came up with in conjunction with the Office of my Principal, Governor Makinde as a form of engaging and to carry everyone along.
“It is also an avenue to motivate youths to buy into the key idea of the Omi Tuntun Governance.”
At the event, various achievements of the present government were tabled to the youths. Views and feedbacks were gotten alongside.
While speaking, one of the attendees said that one of the most beautiful things about the event is that, “we are giving sense of belongings in the government and I really commend the office of the Governor and the Youth Commissioner on this initiative”
