On Thursday, the Oyo State Government provided the Shooting Stars Sports Club, Ibadan and Crown FC Ogbomoso new buses for the promotion of sporting activities in the state.
Fakorede, the Commissioner for Youths and Sports while delivering the buses to the sporting complex in Ibadan said, “The Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration will continue to provide the necessary resources to promote sporting activities as a means of empowerment among our young people in Oyo State”.
He continued, “as the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, I appreciate the Governor for fulfilling his promises and for always investing in Sports Development in the State”.
He further advised the Football club that, “it is however my utmost belief that this motivation will help enhance the performances of the State Football Teams in their respective leagues”.
