Oyo State House of Assembly hopeful, Omoba Bayo Olaniyan has declared his intention to represent the good people of Ibarapa East Constituency.
At the declaration on Thursday 17, March 2022, Olaniyan reeled out his plan for the constituents stating that it is time to put aside politics of destruction.
He further stated that his promises are realistic and that, he won’t fail them but put in effort to ensure that they all come to fruition.
The declaration statement reads thus:
It is my joy to express my sincere heart of gratitude to the good people of Ibarapa East, our zone which is Ibarapa, our dear pacesetter state, Oyo and the great nation which unite us, Nigeria is our home and we must always put in our best to make it great.
How do we make this nation great? From the corridors of our home, our closets and neighborhoods, we can preach the gospel of a united nation.
I therefore intend to be a candidate in the 2023 house of assembly election in Ibarapa East. I must be sincere to tell the good people of my constituency that this is the time to offer our constituency a better and competent representation, visionary, purposeful to build our future.
Today, I commiserate with the people whose lives were lost during the local government election of May 2020. May their souls continue to rest in perfect peace.
Now, we should seek for employment opportunities for our youths, we can fix them into different sectors in the local, state and at federal levels, we need to raise the bar of our hospitals by providing experience staffs and health facilities for our constituency.
Let’s join hands together to rebuild the constituency that will bring in more dividends of democracy, its not only having the position but how to manipulate and influence our portfolio to the benefits of those we represent.
Our graduates have been denied employment opportunities in recent times, its high time we lobby for them to cater for a better life after school.
Security of lives and property should equally be our utmost concern. If we can’t feed all of them, we should be able to protect them.
Enough of politics of destruction and vandalism. It should always be a game of choice by the good people, we are one and should not allow politics to divide us.
We need a movement of the people, by the people and for the people of our constituency. I offer myself to be part of the movement which will upgrade the tenets of constituency
Like I will always say, I won’t make promise of what I may not be able to do, but I will put in my effort to do more than those of the past.
Let me implore everybody who is in between the voting age to get their permanent voters card, that’s the only instrument to select true representation.
