Olusegun Okanlawon Foundation Begins Construction Of 9 Boreholes In Ibarapa

The Convener of the David Okanlawon Foundation, Engineer Dr. David Olusegun Okanlawon has mourned his grandfather, former Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN) Chieftain in Ibarapa, Late Emmanuel Ishola Okanlawon during the 18th year remembrance.

In order to commemorate the deceased, the Philanthropist has decided to “Commenced the drilling of the first out of the mine motorized Boreholes in Ibarapa”.

During the remembrance ceremony, Dr. Okanlawon described his Grandfather we an astute leader, philanthropist and Community developer, who is known for his impact and leadership acumen. Pa Okanlawon steered the affairs of Unity Party of Nigeria in the Old Ifeloju Local Government Area, which covered the entire Ibarapa land”.

He continued, “Apart from having a landmark in the political corridor, he was a philanthropist. His philanthropic heart and gestures remain sterling in the memory of many people. He transmitted this virtue among others to myself and other members of his lineage. It is in lieu of this that I am happy to drill these boreholes in remembrance of him, honouring the numerous lessons, counsel, ideas and values that he instilled in me, his beloved inquisitive grandson”.

He further prayed that “May Grandpa continue to enjoy eternal rest in the bossom of the Lord”.
