The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Dr Mohood Olalekan Balogun has approved the elevation of Mogaji Suraj Abiola Iyiola to Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The installation ceremony takes place on Friday, 24th June, 2022 by 10am.
In a letter signed by the Secretary, Olubadan Advisory Council, Mr K. Liasu, it was conveyed to the new Jagun Olubadan that Olubadan of Ibadanland as the Prescribed Ruling and Consenting Authority approved the elevation in accordance with the provision of Sub Section 18 of the Chiefs Law, Cap 28 Law of Oyo State, 2000.
The elevation of Mogaji Suraj Abiola Iyiola to Jagun Olubadan is the first Jagun that the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Dr Olalekan Balogun will install since the monarch ascended the throne of his forefathers last March.
