According to Oyoinsight the aftermath of the carpet crossing from the ruling party in Oyo State, People’s Democratic Party to the All Progressive Congress, the Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Engr. Raufu Olaniyan is expected to be impeached today and various arrangements has been made.
Notable in The State’s House is the movement of the office of Raufu Olaniyan, Oyo deputy governor’s office to ministry of works and transport, multiple sources have told Oyoinsight.
This is coming less than 72 hours after the Igboho-born retired permanent secretary announced his exit from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
We could understands that Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, had picked Olaniyan, who was then one of the governorship aspirants on the platform of the African Democratic Congress, APC.
This is part of preliminary plans to impeach Olaniyan.
Sources also learnt that the lawmakers are moving to a location to collect signatures, ahead of the impeachment process.
