One of the Governor Seyi Makinde’s local government chairmen, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has been suspended by the legislative arm of the Ido Local Government Council on Tuesday, 9th August 2022.
Adeojo, in a motion moved by the Deputy Leader of the House, Hon. Omotosho Rafiu from ward 3, was accused of lack of accountability and poor infrastructure in the council.
The Chief Whip of the House, Hon. Adebowale Adedeji from Ward 7 seconded the motion for the indefinite suspension of the council boss.
According to OYOINSIGHT, all the nine honourable councilors jointly supported the motion at a proceeding presided over by the Legislative Leader, Hon. Abidoye Tirimisiyu.
The leader therefore ruled for the indefinite suspension of Hon. Sheriff Aderemi ADEOJO.
Earlier, the house observed a minute silent over the demise of one of their colleagues who passed on recently.
