The Management of The Polytechnic Ibadan has assured the Students and Community that peace and nomalcy will be restored within the shortest period of time following a Sporadic shootout between cult gangs on the campus on Tuesday.
“The unidentified Cult groups who engage in the shootout for more than 20 minutes on campus thereby sending the campus itself into comotion”, an eyewitness recounted his Ordeals.
The Polytechnic’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Soladoye Adewole, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that security agents were working assiduously to ensure that peace was restored to the campus.
“We are liaising with all the security agencies and shortly everything will be put under control.

The shooting spree left many injured, including a commercial motorcyclist who has been receiving treatment from the University College Hospital, and a Toyota driver
