I feel privileged and honoured to be saddled with the responsibility of commissioning the Audio-Visual project executed by CCII Executives led by Prince Yemisi Adeaga.
First of all, I would like to commend the outgoing executive members of CCII led by Prince Yemisi Adeaga for achieving the implementation of these monumental projects. This is a good sign that the outgoing executive is leaving on a wonderful note.
It’s no mean feat to execute monumental projects such as Radio Ibadan, Kiriji Monument, Audio Visualization project and Guest Chalet which were commissioned yesterday as Chief Bode Amao commissioned the Kiriji Monument while other projects were commissioned by Former Deputy Governor, Egbon Taofeek Arapaja and Chief Dotun Sanusi respectively.
With the commissioning of Radio Ibadan, Ibadan is going to have a radio station which will focus on culture and traditions of Ibadanland and this is so exciting.
On behalf of the people of Ibadan at home and in the Diaspora, I thank the outgoing executive members of CCII and other stakeholders whose contributions made this happen. They have bequeathed to us a legacy that will remain indelible in the annals of CCII.
