The Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Police has confirmed the murder of a 43-years old man, identified as Isau Yisah, who works as a security guard at a private filling station in Moniya area of Akinyele local government, at the weekend.
The killing was confirmed by the spokesperson of the command, Olugbenga Fadeyi.
While assuring that investigation has commenced into the unwholesome act, Fadeyi urged the communities nearby to give the Police credible information that can unravel the mystery behind the act so that the perpetrator (s) can be brought to book.
The security guard was reported to have been met in the pool of his blood with an injury on his head after a plank seen beside him supposedly to have been used to smash him on his head.
Meanwhile, his corpse has been immediately removed to General Hospital, Moniya, and deposited in the morgue.
