The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Honourable Yusuff Sahib Oladayo popularly called Agba Egbe in a bid to fulfill one of his campaign promises and to also unite the youths has declared open, the ‘Agba-Egbe Omititun Super Cup’ Competition.
The opening ceremony of the competition which held on Sunday, 12th June 2021 at Emmanuel Alayande primary school football pitch had Agbajawo FC thrashed Favour FC 7 goals to nothing.
In a statement made available to OYOMIND by the Special Adviser to the Chairman on Media and Publicity, Bodija Akinwale expressed the Chairman’s love and utmost support for the youths constituency which is one of the drives that motivates the football competition initiative while he believed it is the responsibility of leaders to engage them from time to time.
“It is our respnsibilty as leaders to engage our youths most especially on sporting activities, considering the present insecurity in the country, which i can categorically tell you are mostly Influenced and actualize by idle youths. In that vain we have decided to engage our youths with sporting activities starting with football”.
The “Agba-Egbe Omituntun Super Cup Tournament, organized by Ibadan North Football Coaches Society, having been endorsed and sponsored by the excecutive chairman of ibadan north local government, hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo (Agba Egbe) kicks off today, june 12, 2021. The competition will be held for a month
Some participating teams include; Agbajowo Fc, Yusluv Fc, Ajibode Fc, Favour Fc, Brighton Fc, Real Diamond Fc, CCC Rehoboth FA, Charity FA, Restoration Fc and the host of others.
