Ibraheem Iyiola, one of the foremost Aspirants for the Ibadan North East and South East Federal Constituency and highly confident of getting the tickets of the All Progressive Congress has announced his withdrawal from participating at the APC House of Representatives Primaries after alleged frauds in the Party Conduct.

In his Memorandum signed which was made available to us, he wrote that, “I have withdrawn my participation at the Oyo State All Progressive Congress, APC House of Representative Primaries. I have from my observation, assessment, meetings and build up to this exercise, concluded that that is a ruse, and also shambolic in every sense.
It beats my imagination how such illegality can be indulged as practice in an exercise that should be free and fair, lawful and should be a representation of a democratic process”.
Prior to the election, he said, “After careful monitoring the events, actions and activities in the last couple of days, I have made an informed decision to distance myself from this charade of an exercise. It has been awash with brazen criminality, godlessness, illegality with absolute disregard for laws which govern APC as a political party and its structure to represent the yearnings of the people”.
He further implored the people to remain “calm and steadfast. I will be spending the next few days to continue consultation with family, party members, and members of my constituency on what next set of action and activities should be.
The outcome of this and directions of our next move will be communicated in due course”.
