In a bid to ensure that people get the fun-filled December they desire, Ibadan Facebook SitOut Convener, Oluwatoyin Adeyemi Okediran has rolled out what this year’s activities entail.

This year, which is the third edition is said to hold on Sunday, 10th December 2023 by 1 pm.

Beyond coming together to eat, drink, and unwind, Ibadan Facebook SitOut is a special gathering designed exclusively for mature and responsible Facebook friends who appreciate the potential and relevance of harnessing social media to foster quality connections and impactful interactions.

The theme of the event is tagged, Optimizing Facebook Engagement: Demystifying Strategies for Effective Content Creation, Community Building, and Analytics in Digital Marketing.

In the words of Oluwatoyin, “Our aim is to enable us to engage better and more productively with one another on Facebook, building our capacities as digital influencers in our various spheres.

“More than that, it is a conscious endeavour to navigate the ever-thin line between freedom and responsibility on social media. As mature individuals, we are tasked with setting a good example to the younger generation by maintaining a delicate balance.

“This discussion promises to provide a better understanding of our responsibilities on these platforms, the nuances of digital communication, and the art of meaningful digital conversation.

“Come, let’s discuss, brainstorm, share, and grow together in understanding and mastering Facebook engagement, thereby, adding a touch more meaning and responsibility to our digital lives.”

As entertaining and educative the event promised to be, participants will be admitted via registration.
