IBADAN: Council Chairman Allegedly Orders Armed Thugs to Invade Legislature Session, Beat 3 Councillors to Coma

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawoode has been alleged to have ordered some armed thugs to invade the legislative session of the councillors held today, Thursday, 19th August, 2021 at Mapo Hall, Ibadan.

The armed thugs during the disruption of orderliness bear and injured at least three councillors who were said to be in coma.

According to one of the victims, the thugs led by one ‘Abija’ were working under the directive of the Executive Chairman Hon. Alawoode.

The Executive Chairman of the LG has asked the lawmakers not to proceed with the Plenary session that held today but the Lawmakers went ahead with their parliamentary proceedings, Newscarrier.ng reports.

As at the time of filing this report, all efforts to reach the chairman prove abortive.
