Ibadan Agog as Makinde, Ilaka, Dapo Lam, Ogundoyin Others Attend Oyo Youth Commissioner, Fakorede’s Wedding

Personalities from different walk of life converged at the ancient city of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, to grace the talk-of the-town wedding reception of Oyo State Commissioner for youth and Sports, Honourable Seun Fakorede and his darling wife, Chioma.

Fakorede, an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University and the youngest appointee in Governor Seyi Makinde’s cabinet knot the tie on 22nd of May, 2021 which coincidentally tallies with his birthday as he clocks 29 year old.

The reception which held at Casa Lucio event centre at toll gate, Ibadan, Oyo state had in attendance personalities such as Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Chief Bisi Ilaka, Oyo State Chief of Staf, Honourable Dapo Lam Adesina, former house of representatives, Oyo State Press Secretary Taiwo Adisa, Members of the Oyo state House of Assembly led by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Debo Ogundoyin, Oyo State Commissioners and hosts of others.

It was an all encompassing one devoid of party affiliation as personalities from different political parties across the country, honored the momentous occasion.

The couple was ushered in by friends and loved ones at exactly 6:30pm to the admiration of dignitaries in attendance.

The Chairman of the occasion, the Governor of the State, Engr. Seyi Makinde described the Groom as a commissioner he is very proud of and wished him and his bride, Chioma a happy married life, love and lasting peace.

He commended the courage of the groom, Commissioner for youth and sports for extending his hand of love beyond the Oyo State bridge.

Highlight of the event was the cutting of the wedding cake while the couple and well wishers danced to different tunes. The event was also spiced up by a popular comedian, Asiri.

The marriage celebration between Hon. Seun Fakorede and his wife, Chioma speaks more about unity in diversity which has been a serious issue in recent years. It literally preaches the need to love one another irrespective of tribes or cultures.

Others in attendance were; CEO Titan Farms, CEO Shashi Autho World, CEO TROG Media, Adegoke Pamilerin, Woli Arole, Omojua, Akanni of Lagos, Barrister Mike, Kie Kie, and many others.
