The serving member of Federal House of Representatives, representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, Honourable Shina Peller has described his reluctance to challenge the APC Senatorial primary election for Oyo North because the Party has failed.
In his broadcast released to WWW.OYOMIND.COM he said, “I would have gone to court if I was interested in APC ticket.
ACCORDing to the new electoral law, a two week notice must be given to the INEC and other stakeholders for a change of election venue. In contrary, APC moved its kangaroo Oyo North Senatorial primaries from the original venue (Iseyin which is the headquarters of the district) to Saki in less than 24 hours in order to carry out nefarious activity. This is illegal”
He further reiterated on the reason behind not pursuing his dream in APC, “People are tired of the present system; they want a breath of fresh air and I strongly believe that Accord is the party that will lead us to a new, functional system starting from Oyo State”…
