The House of Representatives hopeful for the Ibadan South East and North East Federal Constituency, Honourable Ibraheem Olayode Iyiola , earlier today, distributed Christmas and new year relief materials for his constituents as part of his unwavering belief in giving back to the people in every way possible.
A firm believer in the provision of relief materials to the less privileged and residents of poor resource settings, the aspirant and member of the All Progressive Congress(APC), used his inclusive distribution channel to provide relief packages including packages of bags of rice and chicken to members of his constituency. This activity is to further confirm his belief in inclusivity as the cardinal framework of his development programs.
Honourable Ibraheem, while supervising the distribution at his Ile Anla family house at Oja’ba, said “as an advocate of food production and security, and eliminating extreme poverty, I believe every little helps and this provision of relief materials ensures no one is left behind during the festive period, and every one in my constituency can enjoy the festive and don’t have to worry about basic provisions.
He continued, “this gesture is to make our people happy for Christmas and celebrating New year in a happy mood is the best thing. To my people of Ibadan South East and North East, the best is coming for us.”
He also added “ one of the lessons to be learnt from the lives of our prophets is by giving back to the society which nurtured us, without doubt, this is what I love doing the most and thus what I live for”.
One of the beneficiaries , who spoke with Oyo Mind said, “we appreciate this gesture, Honourable Ibraheem has been doing for us, he has genuine love and interest of the people at heart, we pray that he achieves all his goals as we members of Ibadan North East and South East are strongly behind him”
Another beneficiary of this festive relief intervention program, also pointed out the consistency by saying “this program has helped us for last five years, and we remain very grateful for this kind gesture.
The aspirant also used the opportunity to address the people, assuring them of many long term developmental programs designed and planned for their empowerment in the coming months.
