Ibadan born stalwart and chieftain of the All progressives congress in Oyo state, Ayodeji Ismail Karim has congratulated muslims around the globe and Oyo state particularly on the occasion of new Hijrah year 1443 AH.
In a statement made available to OYOMIND, the APC Chieftain described the new year as not only an occassion to be joyous but that with the responsibility of staying united, loving one another.
Muslim faithfuls are urged to also leverage on the occasion of this day to act as patriotic citizens by doing well for the sake of the country, while he cited the words of Prophet Mohammad (SAW) that described the love of one’s country as a part of our faith and therefore urges Ummah to take serious social responsibilities and be law-abiding.
He concluded by greeting the Aare musulumi of Yoruba land Alhaji Akinola Dedamak, The Olubadan of Ibadan land Oba Saliu Adetunji, The Alaafin of Oyo Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, The chief Imam of Ibadan land Alhaji Ganiyu Agbotomokekere, Baba Adinni Tijaniyat of Yorubaland Alhaji Kola Karim and the entire muslim faithfuls and wishes all a prosperous year.
