It was a heartwarming and memorable day at the Ibadan North-East Local Government general meeting, as party members erupted in joy and appreciation for Hon. Engr. Hamzat Rilwan Opeyemi Olunlade, a committed progressive and House of Assembly hopeful under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Demonstrating his compassion, community spirit, and unwavering commitment to grassroots development, Hon. Hamzat supported 74 party members with the sum of ₦10,000 each, bringing smiles to the faces of youths, women, and elder party faithful across the local government.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement as party members sang praises and expressed gratitude for his thoughtful gesture. Many described the initiative as a clear sign of his readiness to lead, serve, and uplift the people of Ibadan North-East.
While addressing the gathering, Hon. Hamzat Rilwan Opeyemi Olunlade reaffirmed his dedication to the welfare of party members and the community at large. He emphasized that this financial support initiative is only the beginning, assuring that the next phase of the programme will be bigger, broader, and more impactful.
He also noted that the initiative will continue to cut across both Constituency I and Constituency II, ensuring inclusiveness and fairness for all APC members.
Hon. Hamzat used the opportunity to appeal for the collective support of party leaders, stakeholders, youths, and all loyal APC members as he advances his ambition to become the APC flag bearer for Ibadan North-East Constituency I in the 2027 Oyo State House of Assembly election.
