“From ₦200,000 to ₦3 Million Daily: Card Payment System Boosts PTS Revenue” — Dikko Salami

The Chairman of the Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Services, Hon. Salami Dikko, has disclosed that the introduction of a card payment system has significantly boosted the agency’s revenue.

Dikko made this known during a radio appearance on Fresh FM Ibadan, where he highlighted ongoing reforms within the transport system.

According to him, the newly launched card payment system, noting that daily earnings surged from #200,000 to ₦3 million on a daily basis.

He explained that the initiative was introduced to modernize the payment process and reduce reliance on cash transactions.

The chairman noted that the system has also improved transparency and accountability in revenue collection across operations.

Dikko added that the steady daily income is helping to strengthen the financial base of the agency and support ongoing improvements.

He emphasized that the adoption of technology-driven solutions remains a key part of efforts to reposition the transport service for efficiency and sustainability.
