Federation of Ibadan Students’ Union (FIBSU), University of Ibadan chapter has congratulated the newly designated Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Professor Kayode Adebowale on his appointment as the 13th substantive Vice-Chancellor of the Premier University.
In a press release signed by the President, Aare Popoola Zainab described the appointment of Professor Adebowale as a commendable and memorable being the first Ibadan born to attain such feat.
“On behalf of the Executives, Members and Alumni of the Federation of Ibadan Students’ Union, University of Ibadan (FIBSU UI), the very home branch of the UI VC elect, hereby congratulate our father, our mentor, a proud son of Ibadan land and an erudite scholar, the VC with the CV, the VC with an high-class character, Prof. Kayode Adebowale, on his appointment.
“We joined millions of friends of Ibadan in the University community, within Ibadan City and in diaspora to congratulate the first Ibadan born VC and an alumnus of FIBSU UI”, the broadcast reads.
