Few Weeks After, Books, Furniture ‘Disappear’ In Ibadan School Commisioned By Makinde

The Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde on Friday 28 of May 2021 Commissioned Moslem Grammar school in Ibadan in commemoration of his 2nd year in office.

Makinde commissioned the school alongside furniture, books for Library, and Laboratory equipment for the laboratory class on that day.

However, weeks after the commissioning, the whereabouts of the provisions to the school is yet to be known.

It was alleged that Gov. Makinde ordered the removal of the provided infrastructures.

An an eyewitnesses who called the attention of Oyomind, said he saw cabstar coming in to take out the furniture which belongs to Moslem grammar School, the vehicle came in more than five times to the school to take away the furniture and other things that belong to the school without knowing its whereabouts.

The furniture, books and laboratory equipment disappeared days after, commissioning which was one of his best achievements to celebrate 2nd year in office has been foiled as mere audio by the community members in the area.

The classes were filled with the old furniture in the school and no single piece of furniture was seen in the classes at Moslem grammar school.

Moreover the after a deep investigation by the OYOMIND reporter it was revealed that the two Junior Secondary Schools 1 and 2 allocated just 50 chairs making 100 chairs in Moslem Grammar School and others were moved to a different school.

During the investigation, it was discovered that many students seats on the ground in newly commissioned classes In Moslem Grammar School Odinjo Ibadan
