Fakorede, Wife To Lead Campaign Against Sedentary Lifestyle in Ibadan

The Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Honourable Seun Fakorede and his wife, Mrs Chioma Fakorede has led the campaign against Sedentary Lifestyle after the Ministry collaborated with the Tabatafit Festival.

The Fitness festival which has been scheduled to held on Saturday, 17th of September at Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan is tagged as “Everyone deserves fitness”.

The Commissioner, who announced this on his Instagram page wrote that, “I alongside the Tabata festival crew will lead campaign against Sedentary Lifestyle”.

He continued, “the event according to the schedule shall promote a healthy and active lifestyle not just for the youth population but also for the old”.

He further reiterated the Governor, His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Mainde’s commitment to the physical well being and healthy living of the Oyo State residents.

The free fitness session is focused on reducing the risk of non communicable disease such as Hypertension and Diabetes.
